New research on track systems! 👇 A 2025 study led by Hartpury University, in collaboration with HorseWorld Trust, has shown that horses on track systems lost significantly more weight than those in traditional paddocks. 📊 Horses on track systems lost 10.67 ± 9.9 kg, while those in standard paddocks gained an average of 6.8 ± 13.7 kg. Why? Track systems encourage constant, natural movement, mimicking wild herd behaviours and promoting better metabolic health, especially for horses prone to weight gain!
